Ohio Executive Forum

The Ohio Executive Forum is a virtual networking group specifically designed for the needs of senior executives in job transition. We meet once each month using the Zoom application. The OEF is a more personal networking opportunity focused on the unique needs and challenges faced by executive-level management professionals.

“The OEF especially was instrumental to my landing a fantastic opportunity, which at the time I called the job of my life. Success in turning around that company led to selling it off, and I again found myself working with Ken, now with Ability Professional Network – his success in helping people finding jobs having caused him to need to consolidate SRJNG into a new endeavor. I again participated in Tuesday Tune-ups and the Ohio Executive Forum, and again it proved very helpful in landing my new role. Ken and his group of volunteer presenters are passionate about helping people, and they deliver, to people seeking job transition help from any walk of life. I recommend people join Ability all the time – it is one of the top forums in Ohio to help people in transition.” – Steve Markosky, CFO, irth Solutions

We share ideas, approaches, contacts and activities in our members’ job search strategies.

A LinkedIn group has also  been created for the OEF. Requests for membership in the LinkedIn group are determined by the members. If you are a senior executive in career transition or someone who would like to be a resource to the group, please join us.

Location: Zoom.com

Schedule: The Ohio Executive Forum meets online, using the Zoom application. We meet on the first Thursday of each month from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. A link to join the meeting will be sent out to all members a few days prior to the meeting.

Chapter Leaders:
Ken Lazar: [email protected] • 614-403-6079

“Unquestionably, getting actively involved with Tuesday Tune-Up and the Ohio Executive Forum was the single most important thing I did on my way to landing my perfect job. I came away from every meeting invigorated with some bit of knowledge, information, or inspiration that helped me along the way. Ken Lazar takes his inside knowledge and expertise as a successful executive recruiter to “the other side of the table.” He helps individuals in transition take charge of their situations and successfully find their next career positions. His network of guest presenters also inspire and graciously share their insights and techniques. One’s career field doesn’t matter: Ken’s approach works for all.” – Bernie Silkowski, Director, Technical Safety Services

“Employment transitions can easily isolate a job seeker during a time of personal and financial challenges. Ohio Executive Forum brought me hope and support through a network of caring people while providing an opportunity to help others at the same time. Thanks to Ken Lazar and a great network of caring people, I am a better person for this experience.” -Robert Zamary, Vice President of Operations United Retirement Plan Consultants
